My name is Denise Mathers,  I am a self-taught artist, born in Manchester, now living in North Yorkshire, where the inspiration for my work is taken from.

My Stone Creations are created using natural stones, which are chosen for their individual shape and formation before being turned into a variety of unique lifelike, creatures including capturing everlasting memories of a beloved pet, using acrylic paint.

I also paint wildlife and pet portraits in watercolour, pastel, acrylic and pen/ink.
